Overview

Micro-Ribbon Cables:
Industry trends are driving electronics to become smaller. To help mitigate resulting space constraints, Temp-Flex provides industry-leading fine-pitch micro ribbon cable down to 46 AWG and pitches as small as 76µm (0.003"). Often OEMs’ system designs require long lengths between termination points in miniaturized applications, and long, thin flex-circuit traces are cost-prohibitive at these lengths. The Temp-Flex Micro-Ribbon, with a very low dielectric constant of 2.1, carries the signal with very minimal loss over a long length. The level of electronic interference within systems often requires an EMI/RFI shield. In response, Temp-Flex Micro-Ribbon Cable offers a shielded version.

Micro Coaxial Cables:
Micro Coaxial Cables deliver a custom solution with high-integrity signal delivery using a variety of fluoropolymers and conductor types while maintaining challenging mechanical dimensions. Optional high-temperature jacket materials provide continuous operation in thermally challenging environments. Our ability to customize packaging through bundling and ribbonizing provides solutions to a range of applications. These microminiature coaxial cables provide typical operating bandwidth up to 50 MHz in a dense package, ideal for advanced imaging. Technology is leveraged with other Molex connectors to provide complete solutions for invasive and non-invasive medical imaging and patient monitoring.

Multicore Cables:
Oftentimes, a single application requires power, data, audio/visual and coaxial cables but is constrained by space and environmental limitations. Additionally, the need for miniaturization of multifunction cables often results in a tangled mass of cables to organize and terminate. The Temp-Flex manufacturing process combines multiple components and multi-conductors in a composite compact design providing space and weight savings and ease of termination. The custom hybrid cables incorporate specialty high performance and small gauge wire and cable for controlled performance. Options are also available to ensure Temp-Flex Multicore Cables meet demanding electrical and mechanical tolerances and withstand harsh environments such as high flex and high temp under critical conditions.
